What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

Up until about 2 months ago, we thought it was moving to Florida for a fresh start with each other; little did we know that a conversation under a bridge in Destin, Florida would give us the inspiration to start taking steps toward our goals. We’re both originally from Texas (and Houston is our home base), so our hearts will always be there; but in our minds, our home was out there waiting for the wanderer inside of us to find (although, we’ve always known a sandy beach would never be far from wherever we decided to settle).

We’ve lived in Panama City Beach, Florida for the last two years. If you ever get the chance to go, you should; it really was a little slice of paradise. The location and the beaches were perfect. The only problem that ever comes up with paradise is that it isn’t free; it requires work. I know, I know, everyone has to do it; you go to work, come home, sleep, then wake up and repeat. You spend so much of your time and energy working just to keep the lights on and food on the table that the little things you should be enjoying in life become a burden.

After living “normal” lives, we decided we didn’t want that lifestyle anymore. Now, we’ve mapped out the route, sold or donated almost everything in our apartment, packed the car, and hit the road to travel the United States.

We can’t wait to share our journey with you!
